PERSONAL ONLINE BANKING WITH CITY BANK
Below you'll find important information about personal digital and online banking with City Bank.
Online Banking at city.bank
City Bank online banking provides features and functionality that will make your digital banking experience a pleasure.
Please visit the Business Digital Banking page for instructions.
Existing Bank of Houston logins will be converted to the City Bank online banking.
Step 1
On May 11, go to city.bank and look for the login bar in the top right-hand corner.
Step 2
Enter your existing login ID and password. You will be required to verify yourself with a one-time SMS secure access code.
Step 3
After verification, you will be required to update your password.

On May 11, go to city.bank and look for the login bar in the top right-hand corner and click on “Are you a new user? Enroll Now.
Information You'll Need:
- Account Number
- Last Name as it is listed on your account
- Social Security Number
- Date of Birth
- Zip Code for your physical address
How to Enroll
- Click “E-Docs” in the Menu Bar
- Select “Statements and Notices”
- Select “Accept” to enroll all accounts
- Statements will now be visible
- Select your name in the top right and click “Preferences”
- On mobile, tap the top right icon and select “Preferences”
- Confirm your email address
Utilize our automated direct deposit switching within online banking to assist with transferring your payroll or other disbursements to City Bank.
Here's how:
- Access Direct Deposit Switch from your online or mobile banking
- Search for the employer
- Submit the switch

Log In to the Mobile App
You can use the same username and password you use for digital banking at city.bank to log in to the mobile app.
If you do not have a digital banking username or password yet, you will need to enroll through the mobile app.
You will need the following information:
- Last name as it is listed on your account
- Social Security Number
- Date of Birth
- Zip Code for your physical address
You will set up your own username.
Your Zelle® token, whether a phone number or email, tied to your Bank of Houston account will be deactivated on May 8.
How to Enroll
- Log in to the City Bank mobile app
- In the main menu, select "Send Money with Zelle"
- Enroll your email address or U.S. mobile number
Note: Zelle is only available in the mobile app.
Your existing payee information, along with recurring and scheduled payments, will be available in your city.bank online banking profile after the conversion. After the conversion, you will need to review payees, recurring payments, and payment processing type (check vs electronic) to ensure everything was carried over correctly. Log in to City Bank online banking and visit “Pay Bills” to verify your payee information and that your payments are scheduled as expected.

Note: On May 8 at 5 pm, your existing online banking will be unavailable, so it is crucial that you have everything you need from the Bank of Houston system prior to that date.
You will not be able to access QuickBooks or Quicken May 9 -11 while the conversion process is taking place. On Tuesday, May 12 you will need to deactivate the connection to Bank of Houston then reconnect to City Bank.
